Description
Spyderco developed the UK Penknife after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of folding knives with locking blades. It combines the defining features of our revolutionary CLIPIT knivesa pocket clip for convenient carry and our Trademark Round Hole for easy, ambidextrous, one-handed openingwith an improved, nonlocking, notched-joint mechanism. A proud variant of our first SLIPIT model, this version of the UK Penknife features a full-flat-ground drop-point blade crafted from CTS BD1N stainless steel. The blade includes a textured index-finger choil as an extra margin of safety and is paired with a lightweight handle built with injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. The textured scales are home to a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that is easily configured for left or right-side tip-up carry.
