Smith’s ST Series, multi-flame heating tip, size ST605,is designed to provide large volumes of heat forapplications such as: heat treating, priming, bending,straightening, pre-heating, brazing, shrinking,forming and many others. Heating tips providesignificant cost savings in many applications.By providing great amounts of quick, concentratedheat, heating tips do the job faster and cut labor timeto a minimum. For proper performance, use therecommended pressures for each tip and with anadequate gas supply. Manifolding of cylinders isessential for safe and efficient operation of largesize heating tips.Acetylene multi-flame heating tips are designed toprovide large volumes of concentrated heat forbending, straightening, shrinking, forming and manyother applications. Smaller sizes are often used forbronze welding or for applying hard facing metal tolarge areas.

For oxy/acetylene or oxy/hydrogen. Suitable for use with Smith WH200, SW1A and SW1B torch handles.

CAUTION: Heating tips must be used in conjunctionwith high flow flashback arrestors. It may be necessaryto increase outlet pressures to compensate for flowrestrictions that may be created by flashback arrestors.

WARNING: MANIFOLDING CYLINDERS: Whenrequired flows (cubic feet per hour – SCFH)exceed the recommended withdrawal ratefrom one cylinder then additional cylindersmust be manifolded to provide safe andefficient operation. Acetylene must not bewithdrawn at more than 1/7 of the cylindercapacity (47 SCFH for a 330 cu. ft. cylinder).Consult your gas supplier for manifoldinginstructions for the gases and cylinderssupplied to you.
