Sage 5 CPM SPY27

Description

Spydercos Sage Series was created to showcase folding-knife lock mechanisms and their inventors. One of its most successful members, the Sage 5, highlights our own innovative Compression Lock. This unique expression of the Sage 5 takes that proprietary theme to the next level with a blade crafted from CPM SPY27. Developed exclusively for Spyderco, this American-made stainless steel offers an outstanding balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The full-flat-ground blade of this knife takes full advantage of these properties and faithfully maintains all the key features of the Sage 5 platform, including a high-strength Compression Lock, nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. Its peel-ply-textured G-10 scales also boast a distinctive cobalt-blue color one of the signature hues of our CPM SPY27 family.

Spyderco will donate approximately 5% of sales of the Sage line to the National Alzheimer’s Association Denver, Colorado Chapter. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association provide care and support to families in Colorado coping with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as fund national programs and research to ultimately find a cure.
