The Kurt secretary consists of a tabletop, two steellegs, and a solid wood latch. The u-shaped bent endsof the steel legs are inserted through slots in the plate.Then the wooden latch is put in between.The assembly takes place after preloading the legs
with a belt. A kink in the legs below the plate pressesit up against the latch. By removing the belts the individualparts jam into each other. The wooden latchcan be complemented with trays and drawers andoffers storage space. The area behind the latch servesas a shelf. Kurt provides other options in differentmaterials, colors, and surfaces.
