AERO JET Air/Acetylene Self-Lighting High Temperature Torch Tip (Quick Disconnect) AJ5SL
The AERO JET AJ5SL is a “Made in the USA,” self-lighting, heavy flame high temperature torch tip for soldering and brazing with acetylene fuel gas. Its self-lighting trigger allows you to get to work quickly, without the need of a separate spark lighter. The AJ5SL torch tip is made of stainless steel and brass construction and produces a 2,700 degree working-temperature flame, without the use of an oxygen tank. It features a quick-connect fitting that is compatible with AERO, TurboTorch and other major brands of air/acetylene quick-disconnect torch handles. The tip’s “O” ring is color-coded red for acetytlene gas.
The AJSL is capable of soft soldering up to 3″ (76.2mm) diameter copper and silver brazing up to 1″ (25.4mm) diameter copper using acetylene fuel gas.
