Description

Weiler Tiger Big Cat Flap Disc – 4 1/2″ Type 27 7/8 Arbor 80 Grit 50805

Genuine Weiler Tiger Big Cat Type 27, 80 grit flat flap disc with 7/8 arbor offers the widest footprint possible when grinding steel and stainless steel. Wider flaps combine with a higher density profile to easily conform with irregular and curved surfaces when grinding between 0-15 degrees. Tiger Big Cat discs last 30-40% longer than standard density discs.

The 80 grit abrasive grain is best for blending, rust removal, cleaning, and finishing with a right angle grinder. The Tiger Big Cat flap disc offers a 7/8″ open or plain arbor for a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts.

Features

  • Best on steel and stainless steel
  • A thicker disc with larger flaps which conforms to curved and irregular surfaces
  • Produces a consistent finish
  • Self-sharpening zirconia alumina grains hold up under high temperatures and extreme pressure
  • 30-40% longer life than standard flap discs
  • Contaminant-free (contains less than 0.1% Fe, S, Cl)
  • 7/8″ open or plain arbor for a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts
  • Maximum RPM: 12,000
