The Social Cube is a versatile system made of maple Multiplex and felt. This multi-purpose furniture is functional and adaptable. It consists of four parts: a base element that can be used as a table, a chair or a bench; a shelf (on rollers); a small and a large stool (on wheels with storage space inside) and two seat pads (made of felt). The hidden wheels allow free movement and tempt us to try new combinations. Each object is numbered and the year of production is added. The social cube is part of the permanent collections of the MAK in Vienna, the museum for art and crafts in Hamburg and the Ludewig collection in Berlin.
