They are also used by gunsmiths for trigger jobs, deburring, and detail finishing. This versatile slip (teardrop-shaped) file features a large radius, a small radius, and two flat sides, making it ideal for sharpening, smoothing, and polishing woodcarving gouges, serrated edges, and other small cutting tools with complex shapes. It also includes a longitudinal groove for sharpening awls, fishhooks, and other pointed tools. Made from fine-grit high-alumina ceramic, the slip stone file is easily cleaned with household cleanser, a scouring pad, and water. Made in the USA and sold individually.
