Delica 4 CPM SPY27

Description

One of the original clip-carried lightweight folding knives, the Delica 4 is one of Spydercos most popular and iconic models. This remarkable expression of it elevates the design with our proprietary CPM SPY27 blade steel. Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries, this state-of-the-art powder metallurgy steel supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium. The resulting material offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade of this Delica 4 takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blueone of the signature handle colors of Spydercos elite SPY27 family of knives. The handle also houses the knifes sturdy back lock mechanism and a four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
